How do you smoothie?

We love smoothies in this house! It is one thing that H-dubs and can agree on. Our smoothies are not really your regular smoothies with long complicated recipes where you need a little of this and a little of that. I can’t handle those. In all reality I’m not really a recipe person…. I’m a little more eye ball is and call it good. I also refuse to buy something (spices included) if I am going to only use it once. What a waste! 

Our smoothie recipe goes like this …. What fruit do we have in the house? Ok throw it in the Ninja. Pluse a few times and add some milk and sugar (and yogurt if you like).  H-dubs make all his smoothies with fresh fruit and I make all of mine with frozen. He adds the milk after pulsing the fruit and I add milk and yogurt before. Unless I am adding dates then the dates go in first and get pulsed by themselves. (I like to drink them through a straw and if I don’t do the dates first they get stuck in the straw.)

Some of the things that we throw in are apples, pineapple, pears, kiwi, strawberries, nectarines, blueberries, blackberries, peach, ect.

Apples, Milk and Honey

Dates, Strawberries, Honey and Yogurt

Pineapple, Blueberries, and Milk

Cucumbers, Oranges, and Water
