Any one who has fasted before knows how important it is to get your liquids in when you can, however it can be hard to drink all that plain water. Here are some of the ways we will be spicing up our water this Ramandan.
- 3 cups cubed chilled watermelon
- 1 cup coconut water
- squeeze of fresh lime
- Ice if needed
- Sprig of mint
- Put all ingredients in blender. Blend until smooth.
- Makes two servings.
- 90 calories per serving.
- 1 large grapefruit
- 2 oranges
- 1/4 lime
- 1/2 inch ginger root piece
- Decorate with slices of oranges or lime
Juice the grapefruit, oranges and lime. Grate the ginger. Mix everything together and chill or pour over ice to enjoy right away.
